Led by occupational therapists, Work Different offers a unique and holistic approach to addressing the complexities of workplace inclusion.
The OT eye sees and understands both the impact of disability on a person’s capacity to work and the needs of the workplace and demands of job roles.
By focusing on individuals’ abilities and the work environment accomodation, our mission is to find the missing links between people with disabilities and employers.
Our journey involves four key stages:
In-depth Research
We delve into the experiences of people with disabilities and the challenges faced by organizations from a business standpoint.
Model Development
Based on our findings, we create a comprehensive model for sustainable and inclusive workplace practices. We consult not just the employers and PWDs, but also universal designers, adaptive technology practitioners, and allied health therapists.
Pilot Implementation
We partner with businesses to test and refine our model in real-world settings.
Capacity Building
We equip organizations with the knowledge and tools to sustain inclusive practices through matching needs and skills, targeted training and practical work set-ups. We provide disability support training for individuals who are looking to find work in different industries.
At Work Different, we take steps so that individuals can contribute their unique talents to the workforce. Let us help you create a workplace where everyone thrives.
